New Zealand Cruise 2026

Aukland

In Aukland, we joined Ron and Jean for the Hop-on/Hop-off tour around the city. It was so crowded, though, because a second cruise had docked the same day. There was really no time to get off and walk around, without a risk of finding the next bus completely full. But, I really wanted to see some more cathedrals, so I hopped off at one stop, and walked to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, which was about 5 stops later on the tour. I was able to tour the cathedral and get on the same bus after it went around the city. I missed some of those sights, but the architecture here was what I wanted to see.
