Don Bruns

I graduated from Mitchell High School, then from the University of Colorado (Boulder), and finished up at the University of Illinois in 1978 with a doctorate in Physics. I moved to Los Angeles for my first job, where I met Carol at a square dance, who I then married in 1980. I moved back to Colorado Springs in 1987, then ended up in San Diego in 1994. I work on projects involving lasers and telescopes. Carol works at a San Diego hospital as a social worker. Carol and I enjoy travelling around the country and around Europe. I also keep busy by hiking and taking astronomy photos through my backyard telescope (see my home page!). I'm still involved with the Lutheran Church (ELCA), including some committee work.
